Prospect's Residents celebrate Queen's 90th Birthday

On Thursday 9^th June 2017 Prospect Private Nursing Home held an afternoon tea party to celebrate the Queen's 90^th Birthday. The home was tastefully decorated in the corporate colours for this event with purple and silver bunting, balloons, complementary floral displays and tableware. Entertainment was provided by ‘Dance Unlimited’ who provided War theme entertainment including old time war songs, dances etc which provoked many happy memories for residents and family members alike. The kitchen provided a scrumptious afternoon tea party presented on china cake stands and the afternoon concluded with the presentation of a beautifully decorated birthday cake.

A few months prior to this event the residents had posted a handmade Birthday Card to Queen Elizabeth which included many special messages of love from everyone. We were suitably rewarded when a special reply from the Queen’s Lady in Waiting arrived expressing Her Majesty’s thanks for our thoughts and kind wishes.
